Disc4All Project, an Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Commission for the period 2020 - 2023, aims to integrate available data and computational simulations on back pain caused by intervertebral disc degeneration with a multidisciplinary translational medicine approach.
CompBioMed is a European Commission H2020 funded Centre of Excellence focussed on the use and development of computational methods for biomedical applications. It has users within academia, industry and clinical environments and is working to train more people in the use of its products and methods. CompBioMed started on 2016 and has been extended on October 2019 for another 4 years until 2023.
The project eTRANSAFE: Enhancing Translational Safety Assessment through Integrative Knowledge Management, aims to develop an advanced data integration infrastructure together with innovative computational methods to improve the security in drug development process. The project is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI 2) together with the pharmaceutical industry for the period 2017-2023 and is coordinated by the IBI Group of GRIB.
The European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) project, was launched to address the current challenges in generating insights and evidence from real-world clinical data at scale, to support patients, clinicians, payers, regulators, governments, and the pharmaceutical industry in understanding wellbeing, disease, treatments, outcomes and new therapeutics and devices. EHDEN is proud to have collaborated with OHDSI colleagues in ongoing studies since March 2020 on COVID-19. This project is funded by the IMI JU (EU H2020 and EFPIA).
