Disc4All Project, an Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Commission for the period 2020 - 2023, aims to integrate available data and computational simulations on back pain caused by intervertebral disc degeneration with a multidisciplinary translational medicine approach.
CompBioMed is a European Commission H2020 funded Centre of Excellence focussed on the use and development of computational methods for biomedical applications. It has users within academia, industry and clinical environments and is working to train more people in the use of its products and methods. CompBioMed started on 2016 and has been extended on October 2019 for another 4 years until 2023.
eTRANSAFE
The project eTRANSAFE: Enhancing Translational Safety Assessment through Integrative Knowledge Management, aims to develop an advanced data integration infrastructure together with innovative computational methods to improve the security in drug development process. The project is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI 2) together with the pharmaceutical industry for the period 2017-2023 and is coordinated by the IBI Group of GRIB.
EHDEN Pilot y EHDEN COVID-19 Rapid Collaboration
The European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) project, was launched to address the current challenges in generating insights and evidence from real-world clinical data at scale, to support patients, clinicians, payers, regulators, governments, and the pharmaceutical industry in understanding wellbeing, disease, treatments, outcomes and new therapeutics and devices. EHDEN is proud to have collaborated with OHDSI colleagues in ongoing studies since March 2020 on COVID-19. This project is funded by the IMI JU (EU H2020 and EFPIA).

TransBioNet
La Red de Excelencia de Bioinformática Traslacional, TransBioNet, está coordinada por el Instituto Nacional de Bioinformática, plataforma tecnológica del Instituto de Salud Carlos III. La red está integrada por más de 35 unidades de apoyo bioinformático a lo largo del país entre las que está el GRIB.
EU-OPENSCREEN (EU-OS), the European Research Infrastructure of Open Screening Platforms for Chemical Biology, builds a distributed organization of national screening and chemistry facilities, a common database, and a central headquarter that manages the joint compound collection and coordinates project flow and training. It provides world-class services to academia and industry in the fields of small molecule screening and medicinal chemistry. The project is funded by H2020 for the period 2019-2023.
TransQST
The european project TransQST: Translational Quantitative Systems Toxicology aims to develop novel computational approaches using the best available data from the public and private domains to address the problems of drug safety. Funded by IMI2 for the period 2017-2022.
FAIRPlus
The project FAIRPlus aims to improve data management and data governance in European health research. The project aims to increase the discovery, accessibility and reusability of data from selected projects funded by the EU's Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI), and internal data from pharmaceutical industry partners. It will also organise training for data scientists in academia, SMEs and pharmaceutical companies to enable wider adoption of best practises in life science data management. The project is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI2) together with the pharmaceutical industry for the period 2019-2022.
PSYBIAS
A novel paradigm for effective and safer treatment of schizophrenia: biased (ANT) agonists with a characterized polypharmacological profile. The project is funded by the H2020 ERA-NET NEURON project for the period 2019-2021 and is coordinated by the GRIB.
EOSC-Life
The project EOSC-Life aims to create an open collaborative digital space for life science in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). EOSC-Life brings together the 13 european research infrastructures in the Health and Food domain of the ESFRI Roadmap and is funded by H2020 for the period 2019-2023.
